Make a Take

A way to share a story that asks you to think first. Instead of one-tap "share," you compose your own take on the piece — in your words, or with your own AI's help — and then pass it on. The button says Make a Take, not Share, on purpose.

The recipe

Read it, then react. The widget sits at the end of the article — you reach it once you've actually read the piece.

Locate yourself. Where are you reading from, and what do you want to do with it? A prompt turns those into a question worth answering.

Write your take — or let your own AI help. Your words, your voice. If you want a hand, it hands your AI a prompt to draft in your voice; nothing is sent to us.

Pass it on. Copy, email, or your phone's share sheet — the link plus your take. We don't track the click; if it was useful, you can tell us.

Why bother? Most shared links are never even opened — one study found 59%. A moment's friction between reading and sharing means what travels is considered, and carries your name honestly. A take goes further, and better, than a bare link.
